Captain Funk is young and just getting started, but is clearly dedicated and skilled. He put us on the fish right away. Wasn’t the fish we necessarily wanted, but that’s fishing. We had fun and enjoyed the experience. Good guy and good boat.

We didn’t get a chance to go out with Captain John because of weather conditions, but he was incredibly professional and accommodating. He was willing to try for another day or make plans work for us. I would recommend Captain John for sure!

Great knowledgeable guide, got us into a ton of fish, including an inshore slam, and he shared his tactics and knowledge.  Highly recommended!

Such a great time with captain funk. I’m an not an avid fisher, off shore or in shore. I do know how to and catch a fish and bait my hook. This was definitely an experience I will never forget. He was very knowledgeable about where to cast and where the fish bite.
