Three of us did a full day trip with Captain Ron on June 6th.  Rough windy day foreclosed many options.  We did not expect the amazing experience we had.  Because of the weather, we stayed close to shore.  Hooked Barracuda, Jacks and and extremely beautiful Lemon Shark, about 7 Feet long and 140-160 lbs. Also hooked a nurse shark.  Captain Ron has been doing this his entire life and the depth of his experience shines brightly.  He employed various fishing methods throughout the day. Highly recommend Captain Ron and Pirate for Hire.  You will not be disappointed.

One of our best fishing trip and most fun.  Captain Ron got us to the fishing grounds quickly and on to the fish just as quick.  We had an awesome time catching hard fighting Spanish Mack and Snapper.  Captain Ron kept our rods baited up quickly and took the time to coach our inexperienced angler.  Everyone caught fish.  On our return to port, Captain Ron filleted our day’s catch and gave us guidance on how to ship our catch home and where to get a portion cooked for our dinner at the marina restaurant.  What a great family time we had!

Last day of our keys vacation my grandson and I spent the morning fishing with Capt Ron. Great guy, lots of knowledge and patience and he put in the effort to get us on the fish! My grandson has bragging rights over me for fishing abilities but what a great way to end our trip, with an awesome morning on the water in Islamorada! Would definitely recommend Pirate for hire!
