A little slow trolling.  A couple nice hits but didn’t get any.  Then we went to bottom fish to get my 7 y.o. a few fish.  Caught fish non stop for 2 hours.  Couple nice hammerhead and some pups.  Lots of fun.  Bad bite at the moment for a short trip. But I’ll be back next year hopefully in the spring.  I’ll go with these guys if they’re available.  One last thing,  Captain Scott and the mate (also Scott) made my boy feel like an all star angler. They really took care of us and particularly him.  I really appreciated it.

We really had a great time fishing on this trip.  The bite was kinda slow all day but the captain was very accommodating and let us determine the type of fishing we were going to do.  The trolling was slow so we bottom fished…bottom fishing slowed down and we trolled again!  The other boats in the area were reporting the same thing…GREAT day of fishing, not so great catching!!!  :)

Colin, the 1st mate, was AWESOME!  He worked hard all day and was very personable and knowledgeable!  We hooked into something really big and fought it for 30+ minutes before it broke off.  Colin had to walk the pole around the bow of the boat and UNDER the anchor rope TWICE because the fish kept swimming around the boat!!!  The proverbial “big one that got away”! 

I would definitely book this charter again!!!!

Had a great trip out with these guys. My aunt twisted her knee while out and injured herself- she can be quite the stubborn one, so she refused to call the trip short and turn around. (She did get a sizable barracuda before that happened) Collin was incredibly patient with her and the situation. When we got back to the dock, they helped carry her off the boat and got her onto a golf cart. Captain Scott called later that evening to check in on how she was doing. Injuries aside, we all had a great time and caught 5 different fish including a HUGE red snapper that we couldn’t keep. We will definitely do this again.
