Booked a half day trip with Captain Toto and had an absolute blast. I brought my flyrod and he let me beat myself silly with it for a few hours before switching over to a provided spinning rod for the rest of the day. Caught a few Oscars, snook and peacock bass and was able to get us on a few pairs of nice Peacocks that I was unable to get to the boat for pictures! Toto couldn’t have been more gracious to us, providing us with drinks and snacks through the whole morning and just giving us a great fishing trip in Lake Gatun. I plan on booking him again when I return to Panama.

We had an amazing fishing trip today with Captain Toto. He was super knowledgeable, patient, and a great teacher for two novices. Caught lots of fish, and even escaped a big storm in the nick of time thanks to his watchful eye. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience! No doubt that next time when I travel to Panama, I will choose to fish with him again!!

Toto loves to fish and will do his best to help you have an enjoyable time.  We mainly pitched for peacock bass which is exactly what we wanted to do.  We caught a few and had a great time seeing and learning about fishing Lake Gatun.
