Tough day trying catch fish with the fresh water, current, and wind. David worked hard to put us on the fish. At the end of the trip we landed two of the largest Black Drum fish I’ve ever seen.  Thanks Captain.

In my head, like to think I’m a tough girl, but I’m really just a pink-wearing, I-don’t-want-to-get-dirty type of girly-girl. As soon as my two sons and I got in the boat, I realized that it would be an experience a little bit out of my comfort zone. David made the trip exciting & fun For my boys, who were immediately comfortable with him, joking around as if they’d known each other for years. He put up with my girly antics, poking a little fun at me (which my boys thought was hilarious) along the way, and he even put the bait on my hook for me every single time.  (I couldn’t do it because that would require touching the shrimp) halfway through our trip, the boys were asking me if we could do this again. We definitely made memories that my boys will have forever, and we got to eat some good self-caught fish, too. We will book with captain David in the future, no question about it; I recommend him 100%.

The three of us who fished with Captain David today have fished together for over 35 years up and down the Texas coast. Our main objective is to catch fish and have a good time while fishing.  We accomplished both with Captain David.

We had a great time! Captain Dave was fantastic with our 13 and 14 year old boys. We will definitely be booking another trip.

My son and I had a great trip fishing inshore.  Very different fishing methods from Alaska but the captain was a good teacher.
