The weather was excellent but the fish were not particularly cooperative with our plan.

Captain Lisa worked very hard to find fish and we were able to catch a few Yellowtail and Grunts.  We hooked up on a Cero but weren’t able to get it in.  Captain Lisa then changed plans and took us lobstering.  The whole family had abgreat time!  Saw a bunch of lobsters, caugh a few, but all too small.  Regardless, the family was so excited to get this opportunity!

My active duty, sailor daughter, personally picked Capt Janis for our snorkeling & fishing charter. Women supporting women in a male dominate field. Let me tell you! Capt Janis did NOT disappoint! From the minute we booked our trip with her, she messaged us, immediately answered questions that we had, and kept full communication with us until we arrived on her boat. She suggested that we snorkel first (which we originally wanted at the end) but it ended up being the best decision for us (Capt knows best) Fishing started out slow, but Janis worked her butt off to help us get some bites! Moving locations, trying different poles, bait, etc. Then our rods were on fire! We had the best day on the water! Janis really knows her stuff, and her first mate Siba was the cutest ever! She definitely has her sea legs and living the life! We would absolutely take this charter again, and recommend this charter to anyone looking to have a safe, fun, family day! This was a dynamic reef fishing trip. Janice was highly attentive, informative and utilized her depth of fishing knowledge to teach a seasoned Angler some new tricks. We caught several different kinds of fish, mahi, yellow fin snapper and grouper. The boat offered shade when needed and there is a porta potty on board, both of these options are a plus when going on an all day trip.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to enjoy a day on the water and catch some fish!

You never know how a day of fishing will turn out, but Dauntless does not disappoint!
