Great day today on Just B Cause Charters. It was one of the hottest days of fishing I can remember but the AC was working well inside when we needed to cool off. Captain Ken put us on the fish. Kids had a blast! I think I had more fun than they did. Matt was an excellent mate. He kept us baited up and made sure we landed as many fish as possible.

I was really looking forward to catching a limit of red snapper and had hopes of catching some mahi and wahoo. Captain told us during the pre-trip meeting that we most likely would not catch any mahi or wahoo because he had not seen any in weeks. We we easily caught our limit of red snapper and it just so happens that I caught two mahi on back to back casts. We we lost another one on light tackle soon after.

Captain Ken stopped so we could check out a rather large whale shark between fishing spots. It was a really cool experience. I can’t remember seeing one up close like that before.

When we got back to the dock, Matt put our fish on the board so we could see our catch. Several other boats were also returning at the same time. All had more people on them and less fish per person on their boards. No other boats caught Mahi. Matt cleaned and bagged our catch. We merry with a cooler full of fresh gulf fish.

Just B Cause may not be the fanciest boat in the fleet, but captain Ken and his mate Matt make up for it by putting you on the fish and making sure you catch ‘em. If you want to cruse around in style and chance going home empty handed, find another boat. If you want to catch a limit of fish with some really cool people, hire Just B Cause Charters!

We were in Navarre for a family vacation and 10 of the guys took an 8 hour trip on the Just B Cause June 27,2023   Captain Ken and the first mate Dexter did a great job with the large group. Captain Ken found the fish and Dexter kept us all baited up and fishing. We had our limit of Red Snapper is less than an hour   We moved on out to sea further and finish the trip catching several more fish. This is the 3rd trip that I have taken in the past 5 years and all with different crews, but this was definitely the best and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in some great gulf fishing

We had a great trip with Captain Mike.  We had a group of 13 and all were able to fish at the same time with no issues.  Matt, the first mate did an excellent job keeping everyone set up with bait and pulling all of our fish from the hooks.  We caught fish all day and when it slowed down Captain Mike was quick to move to another spot.  We will definitely use Captain Mike again.

My wife and teenage daughters, along with my retired father spent 6 hours with Just B Cause.  We had an absolute blast.  Captain Ken was very professional and worked very hard to get us in areas of activity.  We saw dolphins on our way out to sea and found several good fishing spots and hauled in a nice amount of snapper and triggerfish!  Dillon, the mate, worked extremely hard to make sure we had an effortless time casting and catching the whole time.  It was a little windy, but to be expected for a trip in early March.  Overall, it was better than we expected and look forward to another trip in the future.  Fantastic time!

Captain Ken did everything he could to put us on the fish. The first mate Matt worked non stop to make sure the fish got into the boat. We had a group of 10, some of us had been before and for some it was their first time, they were great with both. There was plenty of room for us all on the boat and the air conditioned cabin was nice. Everyone had a great time. We would definitely use them again.
