Fishing wasn’t great but captain johnny was honest and warned us that it wouldn’t be, we chose to go out anyways and caught a few stingrays and a redfish. After the bite slowed Johnny took us to an island full of crabs for my kids to catch. Captain johnny was really nice, helpful and was good with the kiddos. Pretty incredible that captain johnny is only 19, has his own boat and runs his own business. I highly recommend taking a trip with johnny he’ll make sure you have a good time even if the fish aren’t biting! 5 stars!

Weather wasn’t great but Captain Johnny did an amazing job getting us to where the fish were. While most other boats that day were skunked we caught our limit on Reds and more.

He was a very knowledgeable and personable ship captain. If you find yourself looking for a charter in the outer banks I would highly advise you give Captain Johnny a call.

Even after four days of east winds and the morning after a cold front went through, Johnny a/ka “Johnny On The Spot” put us on the drum. We limited out and had a rare “triple header”!!!! The kids loved him!!! Johnny was born and raised on the island. His passion for fishing and the joy he has in doing what he loves shines through!!!! Highly, highly recommend some time on the water with Johnny and look forward to booking another trip with him next time we’re here! This young, energetic captain is terrific!!!

The wind was blowing and the water rough but captain Johnny put us on some reds right off. They were biting as fast as we could get them in the boat. Caught about 15 in a hour. Captain then went looking for some blues and spanish, found a few in very choppy water. Johnny did a great job reading the waves and handling the boat in some rough water. Definitely will be booking a trip with Island Time Charters again.
