We had a great time fishing with Captain Gus, so much so that we scheduled another full day of fishing with him just two days later to round out our vacation.  Captain Gus made the fishing experience memorable. His knowledge of the lake was obvious as he guided the boat around, ensuring that we caught fish, and at the same time kept everyone entertained with stories of fishing and local history.

Had a family trip of five on a beautiful Lake Norman morning following two weeks of rain. Capt Gus provided an experienced Hand to my family and set us up on fish despite unpredictable water conditions. He is friendly and kept the morning lively with my teenagers with his great sense Of humor.  Will definitely book w him

I took my 11 year old son and 12 year old nephew fishing with Gus today and they had a blast. They were already asking when we could come back 1 hour in and didn’t want to go home when we were finished! A 4 hour trip was the perfect amount of time though. We all enjoy fishing but we’re not real knowledgeable at different techniques/tactics. Gus was very patient and taught us so much! My son and I both caught our biggest fishes ever today! We caught around 40-50 fish between the three of us. We lost count! I highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!
