Do yourself a favour and find a good charter with knowledgeable skipper

We had a great fishing experience with captain Momo and his crew. They were very experienced and helpful.Recommended～

Took the half day trip with Captain John and his boat man Kelly was fantastic to get out on the water. Caught a Giant Trevally trawling and few good bottom fish.

Would definitely do this again.

I do not enjoy posting negative feedback but the day was pretty disappointing for myself, two brothers and father. It was perfect weather and captain John was a real nice guy but the organisation around the charter was very poor. The other crewman, Seva was young and very inexperienced. Very early on we suffered gear failure while trolling so the next 30 minutes we sat and waited while lines were untangled etc. A big chunk of the morning had disappeared before we were back in action.
Then we moved to bait fishing … but there were no tackle supplies on the boat. We were unable to re-rig lines after tackle was lost. The gear looked pretty old.
Again - I think much of this was beyond the skipper’s control as he wasn’t aware there was no spare tackle on board - pretty basic really.
I was hoping for this to be a highlight of our trip but unfortunately didn’t work out that way. Nice weather and nice people though.
