Our recent shared fishing charter experience was a real treat, rain and all. Our captain’s expertise was evident as they deftly navigated the weather, making sure we stayed comfortable and dry. They took us to a prime fishing area where we landed jacks, yellowfin tuna, and mahi-mahi.

The captain’s local knowledge and skills were apparent, ensuring a successful fishing trip. All in all, rain couldn’t dampen our spirits or the fun we had on this fishing adventure. It’s an experience I’d gladly repeat, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine fishing charter, no exaggeration needed.

Hemos realizado varias veces viajes diversos con GEM Charters y siempre es una experiencia excelente y variada. En esta última ocasión, contábamos con poco tiempo por lo que decidimos realizar el paseo por la Bahía de Panamá por medio día en la embarcación nueva, el Viking 46’. Tanto el capitán Alexis como el marino Oscar fueron excelentes anfitriones y se encargaron de que tuviéramos una experiencia muy divertida. Nos dedicamos a pescar dorados toda la mañana y posteriormente pudimos realizar una pequeña parada en isla Taboga para refrescarnos. ¡Un plan muy recomendado!

Captain Miguel and his first mate did a great job taking the 4 of us (husband, wife, 2 teenage boys) out on the full day fishing trip and Taboga. The boat was super clean, Captain Miguel was VERY knowledgeable about the waters and Panama, and his first mate was so helpful which made our trip comfortable. We trolled the ledge and bait pods, and walked Taboga.  It was cool to experience going past the canal and being up close to the massive ships. I thought 8 hours would’ve been too much time on the water, but it was just right. Thank you for the great time!

We chose the half-day fishing trip, and it was awesome! The boat ride to the bay in the afternoon was chill and nice.

We caught a bunch of fish while cruising in Panama’s waters. The guide was cool, knew a lot about Panama, and made tasty ceviche from the fish we caught.

I totally recommend this crew for anyone wanting a fishing trip in Panama. It was a super fun and enjoyable experience.

We had a stopover and wanted to experience of fishing in Panama without having to go far away from the city, and they provided just that! I knew we were dealing with the real deal from the moment we stepped on board. They are professional, the captain is a charming fellow, and the deckhand was super handy and attentive to our needs. Not only that, but in only 4 hours, they put several species on our rods, and we caught a yellowfin tuna, several mahis, and mackerel. I very much recommend this trip.
