I booked a private charter CD with Captain Gordo on Papucho IV during a cruise stop and had one of the best days ever. The captain has said we would try to catch my first billfish and we did. We missed a couple blue marlins that hit the teasers and a white marlin that spit the hook while Coronel the Nate tried setting it. We were very close to having 3 out of 7 species in none day.

Die Fahrt mit der Papucho IV war ein gelungenes Event. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Marlin gefangen. Die Fische waren an diesem Tag nicht sehr Beissfreudig aber Kapitän Gordo und Bootsmann Comander hatten alles Menschenmögliche getan um Fisch an den Haken zu bekommen. Jeder Tag ist ein Angeltag aber nicht jeder Tag ist ein guter Fangtag. Kapitän Gordo machen Sie weiter so und Ihre Kunden sind Zufrieden. Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Angeltag.Reinhard

Great trip! Started fishing almost right of the inlet and continued the entire day. This wasn’t just aimless fishing or “tourist trolling” but working multiple areas to find fish. Great job Capt Gordo.

We were unfortunate with the weather and I asked our captain to take us to a calmer area. He kindly agreed but warned us that chances to get fish in another area are low. But we Went!
It was all fun at the first time, despite the waves, but on the way back the waves became bigger + we became open to the sun… oh… tough). At the end we did not feel too well and did not catch anything 😢.
But the crew did really well, they were confident and calm. I was less nerveus looking at them).
