This was an excellent fishing trip! I took my 11 year old son who hasn’t done much fishing and was a little bit nervous. Upon getting on the boat Captain Gerry assured us that we’d get fish and he’d look after my son. He wasn’t kidding. We caught about 80 fish out of which 9 were keepers. After over 8 years of not fishing in the ocean Captain Gerry made the experience perfect.  He put us on fish right away and we had a great day.  Captain Gerry is a gentleman and explained about the waters as well as the area in general.  I highly recommend Gerry’s experience to anyone who likes fishing.  This trip was a birthday present from my wife that I will never forget.  Thank you Captain Gerry for a great day of fishing and thanks to my wife for making it happen.  I will be back... My 13 year old son and I had an amazing time fishing with captain Gerry in Catalina. Captain Gerry has us on the fish pretty much from the moment we arrived until the moment we had to leave. He was extremely knowledgeable in where exactly to fish and was giving us pointers the whole time how to land the most amout of fish. Gerry is now my go to charter in southern California. We will definitely be booking a trip a little later this summer.

Had a blast out on the water! Gerry went out of his way to make sure I had a good experience. Caught a lot of fish and he even cleaned them for me right at the end.  Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend booking with him.

Only wish I had booked a longer trip! Put me on fish immediate, first cast caught a nice fish! Book trip in not such a great time of year for fishing, but Capt Gerry still had me landing fish and getting bites left and right! The guy knows what he is doing. Can’t go wrong.
