Captain Nick was a blast. Super down to earth and knowledgeable about fishing the Destin/Ft Walton waters. He was very accommodating, kind, and generally excited to be out fishing. Once we found the fish we limited out (15 Spanish Mackerel per person) in about 45 minutes. Furthermore, he didn’t force me to use his website to book. He called me personally to discuss all options and planning. I would 100% go fishing with him again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great trip with Capt. Nick! Caught our limit of red snapper in less than an hour and some stud vermillion snapper.  Also caught a bonita before we came back. If one spot isn’t working, he has options that will put you on the fish.  This was our second trip with him and will definitely be calling him on the next trip we make.

This trip is an hour longer than most, which is good because from Captain Nick’s Cessna Landing dock it is just about an hour round trip to the Destin pass.  On our trip the seas were higher and choppier than expected, and the trip to the pass and then to the first fishing spot about ten miles out, especially in CaptainNick’s small boat and at the speeds we traveled, was pretty rough. Had a great time with a few inexperienced anglers. Captain Nick Tate helped us beat the weather, find a variety of fish quickly, keep things entertaining but also safe. Would recommend the trip - looking forward to a summer trip off shore 👍
