Captain Marvin was very knowledgeable and helped us have a good day of fishing in spite of rough waters and high winds. Given his familiarity of the area, he took us to a secluded inter coastal channel with lots of fishing spots and out of the rough waters and wind. He found lots of areas to fish around - and kept all three of us fishing the majority of the time. We caught several catfish, redfish and even speckled trout. We were even able to catch a 25” redfish which we were able to keep and enjoyed for dinner! The other fish which were too small he handled carefully and released back into the water. Overall it was a great day of fishing and would highly recommend Captain Marvin.

We had a great day on the water with Marvin.  The fishing was a little slow but Marvin is a great guide that knows to keep moving and trying different areas and techniques.  We got to see a lot of the area and had a great time.  Marvin was on top of everything, keeping bait fresh and lines in the water.  He was fun and we had great conversation.  Our daughters had never fished before and he was patient and super helpful with them.  All in all a great day!  We’ll be back when the weather warms up a bit.  Thanks!

Far and away the best charter I have ever been in. Captain Marvin is a great guy to spend a day on the water with. We got it off from the get go. Pre-trip communication was good and consistent without being too much. We hit one spot and when it cooled off moved to.another. I’ve had captains stay in place just “knowing” they would turn on. Captain Marvin pulled out and put us on fish 10 minutes later. He managed the boat well, and in the span of 5 minutes we had 3 big reds on the hook.

All in all the best experience I have had with a charter trip. This is across 4 states and at least 10 trips. I will definitely book with him again and gladly refer him to ANYONE that is in the area. 

This trip was a highlight of our vacation and money well spent. The memories made will outlive me and, well I can’t think of anything better to save other than thank you to Captain Marvin for a great experience. Look forward to fishing with you again.
