Quite honestly Travis was the most receptive and accommodating learned Fisher man/Captain i have met. Not having fished in waters like this before he taught me in a short time pretty much everything you would need to know. Water temps tides ebb and flow where the fish might be at that time of day. how the bait fish or shrimp come out of the grasses put me on some fish even though water temps were high and storms were coming. hooked four landed two due to my lack of knowledge. It was cool, windy and overcast. Fish were hitting but not aggressively, and towards the end Captain Travis said, “Let’s try one more spot.” My wife landed this great Red, her first, and what made it even better was it was Mother’s Day. Thanks a ton Captain!

Based on your text saying you had a great time and thanked me multiple times I’m surprised by this review. I told you when you booked two days before trip that I’m conservation minded and don’t fill up coolers full of fish due to DNR regulations being too relaxed here for our waters. However, I did say that I have no problem killing enough fish for lunch or dinner. I asked if that was okay and you said you were okay with that. At that point if you wanted to keep more fish than you had ample time to find another charter. The only fish I allow for 1 per person was redfish. We kept everything else and you got your redfish limit. We caught over 20 fish on a rough day which was pretty good for the conditions we had. As far as charging for the fish to be cleaned that’s pretty standard. Most companies charge a fee. I didn’t charge you for it. Thanks and have a great trip
