Overall a fantastic fishing trip on the Mad Hatter. Seas were not cooperative for our early morning departure making it a rough ride for a few hours. Our group powered through it and Capt. did an excellent job compensating to keep us as steady as possible. Seas did calm somewhat for awhile and we managed to limit out for our group of 6 on Red Snapper. Caught a couple of nice Barracuda keepers, along with several other species that were not currently in season. I would highly recommend this boat and captain. Deckhand was also on point. Worked very hard keeping everyone’s lines going and was attentive to anyone’s questions. Go book with them when in Orange Beach!

We had a great full-day fishing trip with Captain Blake and mate Chris on the Mad Hatter.  Our goal we set for for Captain Blake was to limit out on red snapper and then troll for what we could find on the surface. Captain Blake delivered on both. The boat was immaculate and very comfortable. The cabin is spacious with air conditioning and plenty of room for a party of six. The tackle was in good shape and we had all of the bait we needed.
I have gone out on a lot of charters from New England to the Carolinas and the Gulf Coast. This boat and crew rated up with the best of them. I will definitely book the Mad Hatter for my next off-shore trip out of Orange Beach. I also recommend using Fishing Booker for a smooth, hassle-free way to book your trip.

Captain Blake and first mate Scott are awesome. Captain put us on fish and Scott made sure everyone had bait keeping all lines catching fish. I highly recommend this boat and crew. My kids and I have had the fortune to fish with many boats and crew. I would put the Mad Hatter up against any of them. What a great way to spend a few hours making memories for a life time.
