I’m very sorry you were disappointed. The reason bait isn’t caught the day before is becuse its hard this time of year with hot water Temps to keep it alive . Fresh bait is best. Unfortunately sometimes I have to refuel and the only time is during business hours . That’s why you were given an extra hour. Again I’m really sorry . I try really hard to please my customers.

My husband and I were down visiting the area for my birthday and a family trip, so we decided we wanted to do a fishing charter. We got SO lucky to have found Captain Shad! We had so much fun with him, trying all the different areas and all of the different set ups he had. Unfortunately, my husband won (for only the 3rd time ever) in our little fishing contest, but that was only because Captain Shad put him in the right place. 😊 we would highly recommend and come back for Captain Shad’s charters!... Great time yesterday with Capt Shad on our Near Shore fishing trip. We didn’t have many bites on our lines with the rough seas and low sea temps but had a great experience for our first time out. Capt is knowledgeable and did his best to find us some fish. We caught about 5-7 small sized Spanish mackerel. Will try again when weather warms up and hopefully with calmer seas. First time trolling. Captain Shad is very knowledgeable. He informed us of the safety rules, showed us how to reel the line in when there was a fish on the line. I can sum it up in Captain Shad’s words. Paraphrasing of course. “I don’t sell fishes, I sell good times while fishing! had a great time. I would definitely recommend Captain Shad.
