The Captain and the mate did not show their experience of doing charters. Within the first five minutes the captain was forecasting a no fish trip. It turned out to be a skunk trip.  But there was hardly any effort to try and make this trip fun. There was hardly any interaction between the crew and us.  I have taken plenty of charters in my time, even some where no fish was caught.  What made those trips great was the fact that the crew was always involved with the clients. This crew did not. The trip was the most boring fishing trip ever. The captain only wanted to troll. I’m sure there are other methods to fishing in these waters that could have higher quality participation with the clients. My girlfriend did ask if we can fish using live bait?  He responded with it would take too much time on a 6 hour trip. It was so boring that most of us slept. I normally tip the crew but in this instance I did not. I felt the lack of interaction was quite disturbing.  We never had a chance to touch the equipment. I was feeling bad about not tipping but as we were leaving the crew mate yells out to the captain “a big fat zero!”, totally unprofessional. The mate spent most of her time with the captain keeping him entertained.  I hope he tips her well.

After seeing your video online you said to come fishing with US. You and your brother have over 20 years experience so I chose YOU.  We never saw YOU or your brother. Our Captain Nate said he just got his license. Bananas are not aloud on board (they are bad luck).  The worst thing I was taught about bad luck was whistling. Zach was whistling half the morning. I asked him to please stop.He said he never heard of that. I told him to google it. He still kept whistling. After 3 hours of not seeing a fish or a hit one of the other fisherman had his own lures he wanted to use. Isaac did not know how to tie it on so Zack taught Isaac how to do it which took about 30 minutes of our fishing time. We did have 1 line get hit but it was too late after Zach and Isaac were still on the floor of the boat tying on the the customers lure. 30 minutes later we came in. I liked Nate and Zack and Isaac. It was nice to go on a boat ride with them, but not to go fishing with. I am sure with experience they will get better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fishing charter. I was lucky enough to catch a Mahi Mahi which was absolutely amazing. The only suggestion I would have is that the captain and crew interact with the clients more than just the bare minimum.
