My son and I had a great day celebrating his 12th birthday with Captain Sal.  We had a great catch with a lot of Speckled trout and reds, as well as a variety of other fish.  We enjoyed the stay at his fishing cabin as well.  Cooked us up a great dinner that night.  Thank you Captain Sal!

My sons and I drove to Buras / Venice on Friday and fished out of the Venice marina with Captain Sal of Southeast Charters.. He took us out on the river and we caught our limit of Redfish after a couple of hours. After that we continued fishing but did catch and release. He did a great job cleaning our fish and we brought home 2 huge bags of delicious redfish. More importantly, of course, he helped me and my sons add some great fishing memories to our tackle box. He is nice, friendly, professional, and was very patient with us.

We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to fish with Captain Sal again!

Also, not only was the fishing great, but Captain Sal had great communication from the day we booked our trip right up to the day we stepped on the boat. He answered all of our questions, kept us updated on the weather (and what to wear), and gave us good directions to get to his boat at the marina.

Capt. Sal is #1. Glad my husband did the research before booking. It was ana amazing day! We caught tons of fish. Capt. Sal knew all the good a pots. We was super personable, made us feel totally comfortable and felt like family by the end of the day. Sal is very knowledgeable and taught us a lot.
