Spent a full day targeting salmon - Ron knew all the best spots and wasn’t afraid to try something different than all the other boats were doing. He knew his stuff - we caught legal limits for salmon, rockcod, and lingcod - and drew a crowd when we came back to pier. Incredible trip, would book again in a heartbeat.

The day started off late due to bait guy waking up late, but once we got going we ran into unexpected wind and waves to the Plan A spot.  Capt Ron went to Plan B, and my friends had a blast catching their full of bottomfish, and then Capt switched us to Plan C, catching a round of big salmon per rod that filled everyone’s ice chest.  A big thank you to Capt Ron and deckhand Hunter, they again put in the extra effort to make a memorable sucessfull day for us all. Ron and his deck hand Hunter gave 100% to make sure that all Fisherman’s had a great trip and we’re taking care of bringing home our targeted species and as time permits another species   We were accompanied by a 90 year old fisherman today and they made sure he was able to safely fill his limit of salmon also   This is my 9th trip on the nautilus each trip he has outperformed the majority on sea bass salmon stripers halibut and rockfish thanks again nautilus for another great trip

The best way to find out if a boat captain and crew are good is to fish with them when fishing is tough. The fleet had very slow day fishing for salmon.. Capt. Ron and deck hand Hunter worked very hard to give us our best shot. We scratched out one nice king and were close to being high boat for the day. Boat is fast with a smooth ride.  I plan to fish with tis crew again, i can only imagine how good we would do when the fish are in!
