Enjoyed our 5 hour fishing tour on Calypso with husband and two sons.  Captain and Sammy were excellent hosts.  The boat is impeccably clean, comfortable and well-equipped.  The fish were scarce, but they tried very hard to locate then.  My son reeled in a large Jack, and Sammy made fresh ceviche for us.  I highly recommend Calypso.

This was special outing for me, son and grandson. Perfect weather, great boat and superb crew. Both very attentive and great conversationalists. Took awhile and hard work to finally hook up for two of us in the afternoon. Catching big mahi was highlight of my 7 day cruise. Thanks Ariel and samuel for a fantastic day. Might make a return trip to Puerto Vallarta just to do the Calypso again

Our whole day was extremely pleasant, Captain Ariel and Sammy are consummate professionals, the Calypso was in excellent condition and had all necessary equipment required for all types of fishing. I will recommend to all my friends that travel to this area often. Next time I’m in town will most definitely book another fishing trip with Captain Ariel and the Calypso.

Great day on the water!  Boat was perfect for fishing - clean, seaworthy and well powered. Ariel was very knowledgable and accommodating. My 2 teenage kids and I have fished SoCal and Baja quite a bit but first time in PV. We met with Ariel and his deckhand Luis the day before and went over what kind of species we wanted to target and how far we were prepared to go. He told us that the Jack Crevalle bite was good inside the bay but suggested we head out early to the Marietas to see if we could find some exotics, knowing that we could always come back and load up on the Jacks later in the day. Good decision! Left the harbor at 6.30 and got to the Marietas at Sunrise. Magnificent! Like fishing in an aquarium. Filled the boat with Pompano, Snapper, Amberjack & Bonito while manta rays and whales surfaced all around us. Headed back inside the bay around 11 to target the Jack Crevalle. Found lots of boils under the birds and boated (& released!) 8 in total, all in the 30# class. Fantastic topwater action on light tackle with poppers and surface irons. My 2 kids were ecstatic!
Called it good around 2.30 - Put some tunes on the stereo, ate fresh Ceviche and drank cold Pacifico’s on the ride back - Epic day!
