We had an excellent experience with Captain Paul on the STOLAT. The STOLAT is a beautiful vessel that can handle ocean waters with ez.

Captain Paul is a very knowledgeable, down to earth Captain. His main goal is to ensure that his guests have the best day possible. AKA catching fish and having fun.
Captain Paul and his Mate are dedicated professionals who know how to track down and catch fish. They went above and beyond to ensure our crew was catching fish and taught us some unique pointers for fishing that we never knew before.
The Mate always ensured we had fresh bait and was quick to dehook our catches and get us right back into the water!

We ended the day with a ton of fish and a memory that will last a lifetime. We recommend the STOLAT to anyone who wants to catch lots of fish as well as have tons of fun!

Great trip with the crew.  We had 2 Adults, 1 teenager, Two 10-yr old boys.  Everyone had fun catching a ton of Ribbonfish.  1st mates were great, helpful, and full of wisdom.  Capt was good getting us on fish.  He worked hard to communicate with other folks in the area to find the fish and get us on them.  Had a great time and would do it again!

Captain and his mate were awesome.  My friends and i did not want to go after ribbons and the Paul obliged but day did not go our way since we got skunked.  This was no fault of the captain or his mate as they put in effort above and beyond.  Boat was great, both guys were very professional and accommodating as well, no question we will see them again next year!

Captain Paul and first mate Chris were great! Beautiful, clear calm day for boating with no wind to drift but STOLAT’s ‘hundred years of luck’ and Captain Paul’s expertise found the fish!

The crew was first class and extremely helpful with ‘tips of the trade’ to help us hook our quota.

Captain Paul made the best out of a lousy weather fishing trip. We got busy reeling in the fish as soon as we got our rods in the water. We even helped a fellow charter boat out that was having fuel problems. I would recommend Captain Paul, I know I will be looking him up the next time I come to OBX.
