I recently had the privilege of embarking on a fishing charter that far exceeded my expectations, thanks in large part to our exceptional captain Ethan. From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear we were in for a memorable trip.

This was our first fishing charter with Captain Ethan but it won’t be the last!  Our group of 4 had the best time. Ethan knows all the spots to go for the best fishing.  We were hoping to get to do some shelling that day but the tide was too high but that worked out well because we had so much fun fishing; the time flew by. I caught 3 fish (and released) and there is still debate about whether it was the same fish each time. I knew nothing about fishing and that didn’t make a difference with how much fun we had. Captain Ethan will do as much or as little work as you want. He is happy to oblige in any way. I would highly recommend Captain Ethan and Reel Sanibel Fishing Charters. Our group was in Cape Coral the first week of January during an unfortunate cold front. Being from Wisconsin, whenever we come to Florida we try to get some good fishing in. Captain Ethan was personable and a great conversationalist as well as sporting a deep knowledge of the fish in the area. He kept us moving spot to spot of the fish weren’t biting. We caught an awesome seas trout (he said a tournament winner size for the area!), several good snook and also some catfish and mangrove snapper. I’d highly recommend Reel Sanibel Fishing Charters to anyone looking to fish in the Cape Coral/Fort Meyers area!

First Fishing Charter. Fishingbooker site made it easy to schedule this last minute trip. We got immediate confirmation and shortly after a nice text from Captain Ethan introducing himself and later instructions for our trip. This made it easy and comfortable for me to ask questions. After a quick, and easy pick up Captain Ethan had us on the fish! Even if fishing would have been slow, we would have had an amazing time with Captain Ethan! Definitely recommend and will book again!

Captain Ethan took my eldest daughter, son (14 and 10) and I fishing and his primary goal you could tell was for a great time and good fishing. It started a bit slow, but we ended up catching some great fish and even ended up making friends with a Pelican we named Nigel and had to fight over fish with Seagulls (so much more to that story). We couldn’t have imagined a better captain and experience for my kiddos first time out fishing in Florida. Thank you for the memories!
