Well, of course I am as dissapointed as you are with a bad fishing experience.  However, let me set the record straight.  I do carry cigar minnows, I do have artificial lures for Kings, and I was prepared to bottom fish.  As I explained, it was too rough to take a slow back jarring trip out another 10 miles in our short time. And finding bait off the beach is sometimes time consuming.  Patience usually pays off, however, on this day, it did not.  You also didn’t mention that we stayed out an additional 2 hours in rough conditions for no charge.  I don’t mind a bad review of a slow day fishing, but reports of not being prepared are not accurate.  Yesterday, we caught a 35 pound king and 3 others on a 4 hour charter in the same place on a ribbon fish.  That is fishing!

I thoroughly enjoyed having you on board Friday and hope you come back in the summer when fishing is better.  I talked to a few captains yesterday that went out 35 miles and caught nice “legal ” sea bass and a few oversized redfish.  With the fog, I thought we had gone far enough.  Half your fish were porgies, (ringtail).  The large odd fish was a toadfish.  Anyway, hope to see you in the summer months..  Oh and also, I made bathroom improvements this weekend so getting in and out of the center console is easy for restroom breaks…., Thanks again and safe travels back to Louisiana…..

Christine,  Thank you so much for your kind review.  You guys were a pleasure to have on board for the day.  I am glad you guys had a good time.  In my opinion, a day fishing is definitely better than bungee jumping.  Hope you just take pictures as you said.
