Booked a half day trip with Captain Mike. Didn’t have the best of weather as it was 20+ knots with 3+ foot waves and it was a challenge. Captain Mike put us on sheltered mangrove islands and we were able to catch quality reds and snook along with conversation time that helped make our trip memorable. Will definitely be back to fish with Captain Mike again.(not sure if our little cocker spaniel that went with us on our trip will accompany us again as she didn’t care for the rough ride back but Captain Mike, who is a dog person, helped her get through her issues with the rough water. Thanks for a good day on the water.

From booking to catching
fish, Captain Mike over exceeded our expectations. We came on board, family of 4– two kids and two adults looking to make memories and Captain Mike made sure of that and more. He made sure our 7 y/o caught her first fish right away with little assistance. We can say we had a great time as a family and we will definitely be scheduling with Captain Mike again and recommending him to all of our family and friends. He definitely made our day on the water a memorable one. Thank you Captain Mike!

2nd time with Captain Mike, took my 13 year old daughter last December and we had such a great time I wanted to bring my 10 year old son. Last time we fished in the ICW and caught lots of fish and many difference species. This time the seas were calm so Capt Mike asked if we wanted to head out to the ocean, which we did! He has some rock and reef formations mapped out and we spent our half day trip visiting several of them. We caught at least 6 or 7 species including some beautiful snapper, grouper and Black Sea bass. We caught quite a few Blue Runners which are exciting to catch but unfortunately not great to eat. My son caught a Remora which I had never heard of before but was huge! Capt Mike’s boat is state of the art and comfortable, and he handles all the bait and tackle/rod and reels for everyone. He is great with kids, very patient and an excellent teacher. Can’t wait for the next trip!

We had an amazing time! Captain Mike was awesome and so great with the kids. We caught about 70 fish! Captain Mike filleted our keepers and we brought it to the local restaurant to eat. It was such a great time- would highly recommend!! We will be back.

My brother, nephew and I did a 1/2 day inshore trip today, and we can’t say enough good things about Captain Mike. He was so knowledgeable and kept putting us on the fish. We had a great time and will definitely charter with him again.
