Mark showed up late after I called him and got him up. He said he left a msg that he would be late , however I never received it. We almost limited out , we could have paid extra to stay longer . We never stayed later because of the late start though. Mark had knuckle buster reels not all our party used them before. He said he set tension and for us not to adjust. When one of our party fought a health fish the rod bent and broke, do to tension being to tight. Mark insisted we pay for the rod . We paid “reluctantly “ I was going to take the broken rod home to fix since we paid $ 140.00 for it. The rod was so old the fibreglass resin around the all the eyelets was separated, brutal and falling off. I googled the rod , the company had not designed the rod for 10 years. Mark did find us fish , for that it was good. He himself for the most part was just a tiered grumpy old man who should take a holiday, spend some of the $1390,00 we paid him on new equipment and get some sleep.
