We arrived when the captain said.  He got us out to the fishing hole and we had fish in the boat before dawn! We caught 5 nice striped bass and 14 cats. The cooler was full and our freezer is packed.  He knows his business.  We’re booking another trip this year.  I highly recommend him.

Had a great trip with Captain Joe! Sometimes when we show up for a trip (3 “senior” ladies) We can see the captain cringe having to spend the day with us.
  Captain Joe was professional during contact we had prior to our trip, during and afterwards. Gave us info on where to get breakfast @ 5:30am, advised us of the chilly am Temps expected (dress appropriately), Boat was in the water, and ready for our 6am trip.
  He promptly put us on the fish, had fish in the cooler within 5 minutes, and for 3/12 hours after. When he recommended an 80 quart cooler, we should have listened . Our 64 quart cooler was topped off, and we had to start “tossing” them back.
  As I said, Captain Joe was professional the entire time, and like family when we said goodbye back at the marina. Highly recommend,  we’ll definitely book again.

Capt. Joe was not only the GOAT of Santee
(Greatest of all time) he had us catching our limit of striped bass in one hour.  Then we spent the day catching catfish and releasing even bigger striped bass than the earlier ones.
Joe took such good care of us and made sure we had the time of our lives!  We will surely be hiring him again soon! Bravo and standing ovation!

We left the dock in the dark at 6 in the morning at 32 degrees and we were on stripers within 20 minutes.  My wife booked the trip as my birthday present.  Captain Joe Dennis made it a memorable day with forty big ones on a four hour trip. Great captain!

Arranged this trip for my husband as a birthday surprise. He had an awesome time! Caught as many catfish as his cooler could hold. He enjoyed fishing and talking with Captain Joseph and was very impressed with his knowledge of the area and when the fish would be biting. He had the best time and already wants to bring a friend and come back again to catch stripers. Highly recommend this trip!
