We were hoping to catch 1 wahoo. We caught 7. Good day. Great captain and first mate. We are going back again
Although fish weren’t caught on this trip I have NO doubt with better conditions the Captain would have put us right on the Fish. Winds were not cooperating this day and it was the only day we had available for the trip. We had Captain Tyler who was a great communicator. Captain Randy has already given us a 4hr trip (what we booked) credit. I didn’t even ask. He called and was really a stand up guy to do so. Absolutely will book again and highly recommend. Can’t wait…
We had a great time with Tyler and Randy. They worked hard to find us some fish and they were successful. After a cool start we ended up getting into the flounder. The boat and equipment were very nice and the crew even took some time to educate us about some jelly fish and puffer fish that we boated. Also, fresh flounder makes for great fish tacos.
It didn’t take long to get out of the marina and lines wet, captain had us in some Spanish mackerel almost immediately. Bite went away after a half a dozen hookups and two small ones landed.
It was very windy, so had to stay closer to shore which made the fishing hard. After moving around to a few places and catching a couple small drum and sharks, we risked the waves to get out to a reef a few miles out. It was rocky but we’re able to find some smaller black sea bass and a medium size shark.
No keepers for the day, mostly due to the weather.
Only disappointment for me was we got double booked by fishing booker and we swapped our trip to the afternoon. The owner was accommodating with an upgrade to a longer boat which was good for the bigger waves and to get out to the reef. The original time we had booked was calmer weather and we may have had more luck and less motion sickness for some of our party.
Overall the captain and mate did their best to keep us comfortable with drinks and bean bags while we cruised to each spot, kept the bait on the lines, and tried many methods to lure in some bigger fish. We all had fun and will be back again to hopefully fill a cooler.

Went out with Capt. Joey and deckhand Degan (sp?) for an nearshore trip.
It was fairly rough 20 miles out, but Joey operated the boat very well and safe!
We came back in approximately 10 miles out and got into the Spadefish big time!
I caught my limit and also hooked into a Barracuda which was a blast!
They crew were personable, professional and worked their butts off for my fishing experience.
I would highly recommend them fully!

Captain Joey and Deegan the 1st mate put us on the fish on the very first drop. We caught some fun 20lb redfish and amberjack that weighted between 25-35 each. There was even a barracuda that we caught off the kite. The highlight of the trip was the very last fish (good thing, we were gassed after this), a 350-400lb tiger shark hit our live bait!
