We booked a 3 hour charter for the two of us to celebrate our birthdays and it was a complete blast! Not only did we catch 4 striped bass, but we got to keep 2! It was such a great day and the highlight of our whole trip! We 110% recommend Lyla Rose fishing charters and are already planning our next charter!

The four of us booked a trip for Saturday October 7 and it couldn’t have gone any better. Capt Matt put us on the first right off the get go and it did not stop till our adventure was over. Overall great experience which we will be returning to in the future thanks again Matt!

Although we didn’t catch any fish, we enjoyed our boat ride with Captain Matt.  He tried to put us on the fish but they were just not biting. Our past trips we had lots of luck.  That’s why they call it “fishing” and not “catching”.  Better luck next time.

We had a great time. Didn’t get into much but Captain was pleasant and very informative.  A lot of guides we have used before do all of the work, captain Mike allowed us the option to do most of it ourselves which I enjoy.  Loved our time out on the water taking in the scenery.

Matt had me catching big Stripped Bass in no time.  On our way to another spot we hit a school of Bluefish and with the extra poles all rigged up, bam we hooked some huge Blues. Matt knows these waters for sure.  My arms were sore.
