EVERYTHING WORKED LIKE CLOCKWORK WITH REGARD TO THE RESERVATION, COMMUNICATION WITH THE CAPTAIN, DEPARTURE TIME, ETC.  NICE BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS AT THE DOCK.  CAPTAIN WAS VERY ACCOMODATING TO OUR NEEDS TO ADD AN HOUR TO THE TRIP AND TO DEPART AN HOUR EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED.

FISHING WAS SLOW THE FIRST 45 MINUTES AND THEN WE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT SPOT AND CAUGHT OUR LIMIT OF 25 BLACK DRUM FOR THE 5 OF US WITHIN TWO HOURS.  THE REST OF THE TIME WAS CATCH AND RELEASE.

THEN WE WENT TO HULI HULI HUT JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY WHERE THEY COOKED OUR FRESH CATCH FOR US 4 DIFFERENT WAYS.

THE ENTIRE DAY WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.

Shannon was a great guide, he baited our hooks the whole time and had lots of insights to share about fishing and all things outdoors that Texas has to offer. We greatly appreciated him taking us out despite the windy conditions that day, which led to not the best day for fishing but we still caught some fish and enjoyed a great boat ride! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back if ever in the area!

Shannon was an excellent guide and made the experience outstanding. We have fished all over the country and will be returning to fish with Shannon again based on experience we had! Super personable and extremely knowledgeable about his craft and the area, even suggested a restaurant we could go to that would cook our catch!

This was my first fishing charter, Shannon was super easy to get along with and listen to. We limited out on Black Drums and were able to take filets home! Looking to book another charter during a later season for deeper water! Highly recommend. He also steered us to Hulu Huli Hut which will cook your catch too!

My son is a senior and I told him we were going fishing in Galveston… he didn’t know I was taking him on a boat! He was excited but not as excited as he would be when he caught the BIGGEST black drum we had ever seen… TWICE! Plus a couple we got to take home and cook! Captain Shannon was amazingly patient and helpful with each haul. Even with my lack of experience we still had an unforgettable time. My son is already about the next trip!
