Hopefully everyone will get a “Perfect Day” for fishing like we did. Seas were flat slick and the fishing was good. Cap’n Ryan and his mate , Deo, are top notch folks. Great conversation and plenty of helpful insight about the area. The day was filled with sightings of sea turtles, large sharks and, of course, lots of fish. These guys found the right spots, and really made our day enjoyable. Thanks Ryan, you and Deo made our trip memorable our friends enjoyed themselves SO much. Looking forward to the next trip!

Nothing short of an amazing experience. The Captain and his partner were so kind, and fun. We enjoyed the fishing, but the conversation was great, as well. I highly recommend Fugitive Fishing!

Also, as a highlight - we all caught sharks. My grandfather caught a shark that was over 5/6 feet. This is something he will always remember, and we as a family will treasure! Thank you, Fugitive Fishing!

Capt Ryan and his Mate were fantastic, but as he had already explained the day before…“The fish just may not be cooperating.”.....which for the most part they were not.

We caught 2 Spanish Mackerel, one Bonito and one Shark.

But as they say, “Even a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.” (LOL)  And that’s why they call it “Fishing” and not “Catching”.

The boat is old and in need of some upkeep and fishing tackle (rods and reels) is okay but has seen better days.

Things were definitely in better shape 11 years ago when we went out with The Fugitive and Capt. Ryan.

All in all, it was still a very relaxing day and well worth the experience.

Great afternoon with moderate seas.  Captain Ryan put us on the fish right way with a two species fish hook up on the down rigger rod which was a first for him and myself.  While the Gag Grouper and Black Sea Bass where to small for keeping it was still a memorable experience. Coming back to port in the ICW just off Southport we encountered a large pod of porpoises feeding.  Captain Ryan slowed and idled through for us to see them all which topped off a great half day on the Fugitive.
