We booked a 3 hour fishing trip in Las Terranas with Eugenio. I had let my 10 year old son know we might not catch anything but he caught at least 6 fish, and my 8-yr old daughter reeled in 3 or so. They were small fish about 6-8 inches or so, but colorful and my son loved it. We could have caught more but my daughter got a little sea sick and we headed back. We could always see the shore line but did get out quite far. The captain and first mate were not chatty but were helpful with setting up the poles and bait and even dropped us off to our beach front hotel on the boat! It wasnโt a fancy but exactly what we were looking for. Eugenio was great to book with and I would recommend booking with him.

What an incredible adventure this was! Eugene was great at communication and accommodated our desire to have 8 fishermen for all day. He split us in two boats which is perfect because then we could have 4 poles in the water on each boat. They picked us up from the beach house we were staying in in Las Terrenas and dropped us off there. They had food and drinks provided. We caught many fish including one Mahi. I would highly recommend Eugene and Las Terrenas Fishing Charters. We did get a bit sea sick but that is the nature of the sport and we werenโt used to the motion being from Colorado, USA. But it was still a great day! Thank you so much Eugene and team!

It was a good experience. We cach a machi machi and some other small fish, but there are chances for catching big fishes. We kept the machi machi and the over recomand us a restaurant nearby where we could cook the fish. We had such a good fille and cevice. The issue is that the crew is not very interactive. It was a little boring at one moment. Another issue is the price. 450 usd is to much for this. But on that side of the island all the prices are higher than normal
It was an amazing experience. However as a first time fisher, i was disappointed not catching any fish. I rhink there should be a warning not to have your expectations too high. Besides that crew was great. Would totally recommend.
Sometimes fish donโt want to bite , I know you found a big school of mahi and they didnโt want to eat nothing , hopefully next time itโs the day ,
