Capt. Jesse is so knowledgeable. He put us on plenty of fish. Having never fished in my life, I didn’t expect I’d have success. This excursion was a bday gift for my husband who was eager to learn more about fishing in NC. I happily prepared myself to enjoy the boat ride, scenery, etc. To my surprise, with Capt. Jesse’s guidance, I was casting and catching fish in the first hour! What a thrill. I caught red drum and flounder. We even saw dolphins. We are looking forward to our next trip with Capt. Jesse! It was terrific!

We booked a fishing trip with Captain Jesse for my son’s 9th birthday.  We had a great time and captain Jesse went above and beyond to make it a memorable birthday for my son. I would highly recommend Captain Jesse if you’re looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, and personable fishing guide in this area.

Jesse is a great captain with excellent domain knowledge about the local fishing area.  His calm demeanor and approachable attitude made for an excellent experience for me and my 12 year old son.  Also, lets just get right to it….he knows where the fish are and how to put you on them.  No wasting time chasing bait and doing prep work that cuts into your fishing time…. He just gets you right into the fishing.  Fantastic time on the water!

Just got back from fishing with Captain Jesse, and had a great time! Went trolling and bottom fishing and caught flounder, grouper, mackerel, bonito, cobia and a few others. Jesse was real responsive before the trip, and had us quickly on fish we were targeting. Kids had a blast! Would definitely recommend to anyone out there looking to catch some fish with the family, and learn more about fishing!

Such a great trip, catching fish for 90% of the 4 hour trip. He was knowledgeable and didn’t waste time getting us on fish. Already had bait ready so we didn’t need to waste time on that. Overall great trip and will for sure be using Lumina Again in the very near future
