This trip exceeded our expectations. David and Chris were our expert crew who led us to an epic fishing day. The grand finale was when Albert got to experience a 20 minute fight with a marlin that surfaced a couple of times displaying himself above the water before he finally freed himself of the line which we were happy about because we didnโt want to have to gaffe him just for a picture as all marlin are catch and release only. In the end, we caught so much yellow fin Ahi and a few blue jack tuna that we were able to share a feast with friends and give some to our helpful crew. It was just a fabulous experience and we will never forget it. Mahalo Dave and Chris! You and Blue Kona rock!!!!

Our first deep sea fishing experience and one we will never forget! The Captain and crew of the Kona Blue were awesome! We were able to catch and release (2) Blue Marlin during our trip. Their explanation and guidance were wonderful and they made the outing very special for our eleven year old son who had been looking forward to this experience for a very long time! Great time, great fun! Looking forward to doing this again!

Caught two large yellow tail and on bill fish..hooked a large marlin which got off the hook
