Booked a trip with Javier after researching for several days only to learn the night before our trip that Javier would not be our captain. What a disappointing trip this turned out to be. Javier only messaged me the night before our trip after I messaged asking where we should meet him. It was then that he informed me he would not be our captain because he was instead fishing a tournament. I feel misled. If Javier was fishing a tournament, this was planned in advance and should’ve been disclosed. I am an angler who lives on the Texas coast. I booked this trip to experience the excitement and experience of Javier, as listed on the website. The young man who took us fishing was nice but I was looking forward to the excitement of a long-time fisherman who knows these waters and fishes with confidence. This trip was nothing short of an expensive boat ride. No one on the boat ever touched a rod and reel. We landed no fish. ZERO.

Boat picked us up at our Resort Cozumel Palace 30 minutes early. Crew was excellent we didn’t do a thing but catch fish they baited hooks, unhooked the catch and was extremely knowledgeable. We caught 18 or so fish and they were all good size. The crew filleted 4 fish for us to have cooked at the resort and we gave them the rest just show up and they take care of it all price was good for size of boat.I highly recommend these guys.

Thanks for the great trip! We caught 7 Blacktip tuna during our trip! Seas were a little rough, but it was worth it. We would do it all again given the chance!!
