My 18 year old son and I went fishing with Harry and it was a slow day. Fishing has no guarantees. We covered 30-35 miles in the ocean looking for bird piles that were non-existent. Harry told me a story mid-trip about finding “floatnd debris” such as old fishing nets, etc that were like finding a “needle in a haystack” in the vast ocean. We were essentially on our return course back to the harbor when we spotted the unexpected debris…...a fushing net! Harry changed course slightly to bring our lines closer to the net and….bam! Our first hook,up of the day! Unfortunately, that one shook the hook at the boat, but on our next pass another hook-up and landed a smaller Mahi—Mahi! Several more passes and the fish were on to us. No more strikes. A slow day on the water, but not for lack of effort. Harry was attentive to the horizon and wanting to find fish for us. Some days are just slow. I would definately book with Harry again on a future tril to Kauai. Thank you Harry!

A very enjoyable fishing experience in the choppy waters of Kauai; unfortunately, the yellowfin tuna were not biting but it was not due to numerous efforts in trying to find them.  We did catch a nice sized Barricuda which made the trip memorable.  Fishing with Captain Harry is highly recommended for an enjoyable family experience whenever you are in Kauai.

Harry, the captain, a skilled fisherman & super nice person. The boat was clean with plenty of quality rods. Once this big fish hit the line Harry was right there working hard to ensure we didn’t lose it. He cleaned it for us & we have been enjoying great tuna. So glad I chose this charter. He’s the best! If return to Kauai will definitely be rebooking with him.

Excellent trip.  While the fishing had been slow the last couple weeks, Captain Harry continued searching and we got hooked up on an 87 lb yellowfin tuna took about 30 minutes for my son to reel in.  Also had a marlin on for a short time before he got off.  Great trip and excellent memories made.  Highly recommend.
