My wife and I booked a half-day trip with Capt Mario and first mate Fego. This was our last day visiting Egypt, and what a way to end our trip than a day spent on the water with Mario and Fego. Our lines were tight with the likes of Yellowfin, Skipjack, and Bonito. Not only did Capt Mario put us on the fish, he gave us truly a wonderful experience. Capt Mario is an extremely experienced fisherman and knows how to fish the Red Sea. He is a passionate angler, great person, and within about 10 minutes I knew I had a friend for life. When we come back to Egypt to visit I will definitely be booking another trip with Mario and I cannot recommend him enough!

Ich kann es kaum in Worte beschreiben, hab mein ersten Thunfisch gefangen und das am ersten Tag. Die Bedingungen waren alles andere als einfach! Aber Mario und seine Crew haben alles gegeben. Mir ging’s durch den Wellengang nicht so gut, aber die Jungs haben mich ermutigt weiter zu machen und ich wurde mit zwei außergewöhnlichen Drills belohnt. Der letzte Drill ging über ne Stunde und bescherte mir mein ersten Thunfisch meines Lebens. Ich werde irgendwann wieder kommen! Aber nur zu Mario! Man fühlt sich wohl und aufgehoben. Unheimlich freundlicher Umgang miteinander!!! Top!!! Ich kann nur danke sagen!

Ein Traum von einem Fishingtrip! Wir haben zwei riesige Thunfische und zwei wunderschöne Bonitos gefangen, was weit über meine kühnsten Erwartungen hinausging. Die Guides waren der Wahnsinn – super freundlich, extrem hilfsbereit und mit einem tiefen Wissen über das Meer. Dieser Tag war nicht nur ein Angelausflug, sondern ein echtes Abenteuer, das ich nie vergessen werde. Absolut empfehlenswert für jeden, der das Meer und das Angeln liebt. Ein perfekter Tag auf dem Wasser!

A dream of a fishing trip! We caught two huge tunas and two beautiful bonitos, far exceeding my wildest expectations. The guides were amazing – super friendly, extremely helpful, and deeply knowledgeable about the sea. This day was not just a fishing trip, but a real adventure I’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the sea and fishing. A perfect day on the water!

Originally my 2 adult sons & myself had booked our half day fishing trip for Friday 9th Feb, but since the weather forecast predicted a lot of wind that day, captain Mario from Big Game Fishing reached out to us the day before, in order to propose us to postpone it to Monday 12th Feb., which we thankfully accepted. So everything started with great communication & flexibility, in order to raise our chances on a good catch, being great intentions to start with, all to satisfy us. Second sign of great service was captain Mario to pick us up from our hotel, to bring us to the boat, not being standard included in our package. When we arrived at the boat everything had already been well prepared by 2nd captain Figo, being a son of a genuine fisherman, who has been fishing since he was 3 years old. Most of us know, that there are no (zero) guarantees for a good catch when we go fishing, for all kind of reasons, but if you have incredibly experienced captains like Mario & Figo guiding you, success is almost guaranteed. These 2 great captains are a perfectly matching team together, knowing all the hotspots & tricks of the Hurghada bay area, so they made our fishing trip very successful & unforgettable. Their great service also included nice softdrinks, sandwiches, fruit & snacks. Last but not least, being still very passionate fishermen themselves, who have made from their hobby their profession, they extended our half day (paid) fishing trip to a full day, without additional charges. An incredible & unforgettable experience, thank you captain Mario & captain Figo! We are planning to come back again to Hurghada next year and will then definitely come back to you for our next fishing trip, as you two are simply the best out there!

Ich war mit meiner Frau bei Big Game Fishing einen Tag lang auf dem Wasser und es war einfach nur toll. Einen schönen großen Rotbarsch habe ich unter anderem gefangen beim Vertikalangeln. Dies kann man auch bei TikTok sehen. Der Angler aus Frankfurt ist da mein Profilname. Mario war direkt nach der Buchung unser Ansprechpartner und hat alle Fragen per WhatsApp beantwortet. Er hat super Angelplätze herausgesucht und selbst als die Zeit rum war, wollte er nicht aufgeben uns zum großen Fisch zu führen. Leider habe ich einen größeren (>10kg) Fisch verloren (hatte wohl nicht richtig gehakt) aber so ist das beim Angeln. Wir werden wieder kommen und dann klappt das auch mit dem Riesen ;-)
Die Organisation und Kommunikation war einfach nur perfekt und wir brauchten auch nix mitbringen :-) nur gute Laune und die Kamera.
