Despite six trolling lines in the water and two electronic fish-finders, the fish were not biting—not one bite in six hours. As Captain Brandon said: “in this business we’re either a hero or a zero.” The captain and his mate Kevin did absolutely everything they could, but the fish were on the bottom, inert, not active. The excessive winter and excessive cold water was the possible cause. But truth be told, captain and mate did everything they possibly could and more.
I plan to come back. It’s a great boat, a great captain and mate…just the wrong day for fishing.
