Had a blast with these folks. The boat was pristine and the Captain was a consummate professional with deep knowledge of the fish and other sea life in the area. We caught king fish, mahi, and red snapper among others. The best part was that we didn’t have to worry about anything but keeping our lines in the water. We got off to a great start, catching our limit on good size snapper right away, after that we went for kingfish and caught a few. At that point I let the captain know we weren’t too interested in kings and would like to target other species knowing we might not find any but would prefer to try. Josh, we are sorry you didn’t get to seek the species you wanted. Our captains are out there everyday and target the species that will have the most success. We know there are a wide variety of fish in the gulf but sometimes the ones you want just won’t cooperate. Hopefully we see you again and we can target a wider variety of species. I recently went on an offshore fishing trip with Texas offshore outfitters out of Sargent Texas, and it was an amazing experience. Captain Bailey and the crew were super knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure we had a great time and knew all the best spots. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we caught a ton of fish. I would highly recommend TXOO to anyone looking for a top-notch offshore fishing experience! This is your sign!
