What a fun day we had as a guy trip with Captain Hunter!!!  Mind you this was the first time gulf fishing for these Kansas boys, and Captain gave us multiple fishing tips and tricks for gulf fishing. His experience and expertise in his field was unmatched. We were catching all kinds of fish, at all different levels of depth. Multiple times had two fish on a single line. The big catch of the day was a real nice Red Snapper, but because of being out of season, we had to release.  But the adrenaline rush and feeling the fight were all there. Finished the day with a table full and even more important fed a group of 20 fish tacos for dinner. Thanks Captain Hunter and Captain Marek!!

We hit the limit on mingos for 4 people and caught some good size snappers. Captn Hunter was very nice and helpful, did his thing all around. That center console was game changer. Glad we booked and will be booking with Lonestar Charters in the future for sure!!

Excellent trip! Captain Hunter and mate Haylee (hope I spelled it correctly) were amazing! Clean boat, well equipped with good tackle. They put us right on the fish, lines stayed tight nearly the whole trip. If the bite slowed down he quickly went to work to get us on the next hot spot. Very knowledgeable crew, attentive and very relaxed. These guys not only put you on the fish but also let you fish, unlike some boats I’ve been on before they’re not pushy and very helpful! While it was a very clam day for us offshore, the seakeeper on this boat made it even better. Great fishing aside, the crew was great just in casual conversation, tons of laughs and stories to tell for years to come. We will definitely be booking with Captain Bobby and Lonestar Charters again! No need to find another boat, Lonestar is your answer for Destin fishing charters! Thanks again for a great afternoon.

We went on a 6 hour trip with Captain Hunter and 1st mate Molly on 6/18/2023. Let me just say, we have been on many charters, and this charter was by far the best one we have been on! The crew interacted with us, played good music, kept us on fish and kept bait on our hooks. Hunter was always working to change up the bait or change locations to keep us on fish. On the way back in to the Harbor, we got caught in a bad thunderstorm.  This crew stayed calm and did their best to get us back to the dock safely. We had a great time and will continue to book with Bobby and his crew every year!
