My wife, son, nephew, and myself took a morning trip with Captain Steve and had an amazing trip! The 2 boys wanted to catch some bigger fish before we went looking for snappers. Captain Steve had us on amberjacks within minutes of setting up, and then snappers after that. Both the captain and his first mate, David, made us feel comfortable and helped out when needed.

This was our second trip of the week with Cpt Steve and it was great! All the kids were able to catch a shark including a 10ft monster bull shark! In addition to the sharks they all caught some good sized Amberjacks! Him and his deckhand were great with the kids and pleasant to be around! Next time we visit Destin we will be booking with Steve! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and memories you helped provide our family!

Very good trip! Weather was perfect and Capt. Steve and crew were complete professionals! They definitely went beyond expectations to put us on the big fish! We took the 4 hour excursion, and the staff worked nonstop with our inexperienced crew of 4. The vessel was clean, comfortable, and plenty of room for our trip. Very family oriented and kid friendly. Capt. Steve is full of knowledge of the waters and all the properties surrounding the area. We will be returning customers for sure. We HIGHLY recommend this voyage for anyone interested. Don’t be fooled by grandeur…Lock and Load is not the largest boat in the harbor but we wouldn’t trade this experience for anything!  Captain Steve was one of the hardest working people I’ve met!  He was professional and diligent and the pictures above don’t lie!  He led us to great catches!  5 in our group and everyone had a catch (or more) to bring home.  Unforgettable trip! Capt. Steve did a wonderful job, again! My boys and I had a blast on this trip! We started off catching our bait for the trip and then went trolling.  We hooked into several King Mackerel, only landed one because of the pesky dolphins stealing them. We then spent some time fishing some wrecks and caught some snapper for dinner. Great experience and definitely recommend for individuals with kids or even just the adults going out!
