Captain and mate were friendly and knowledgeable. They knew right where to fish and we were on them minutes after casting bait.  My only complaint is the MD fishing limits. Had to let go of a 30+ inch beauty.

What a great day on the water with Captain Jeff. Beautiful boat with plenty of room for us today fishing the Chester River.  We caught our limit before the end of our trip and enjoyed watching the crew master the art of striper fishing.  I’ve been fishing for over 45 years and learned so much more while listening to Captain Jeff talk about striper fishing in the area with his wealth of knowledge and experience.  Highly recommended, we will be back again!  5 stars!

We decided to take my father-in-law on a rock fishing trip for Father’s Day. He grew up fishing for them on the bay and we wanted to help him relive some great memories.

Captain Jeff and mate Rich showed us an amazing time. We were fortunate that the fish weren’t too far from where our trip started and we had our limit by 9am. A very blessed day of fishing.

Captain Jeff and Rich were excellent hosts. It was obvious that they were seasoned fisherman. Both men were very personable and easy to get along with. They answered all of our questions and told many great stories.

Given that we caught our limit early Captain Jeff allowed us to fish for baitfish for a large remaining portion of our trip. Very kind of him as we had paid for a full days trip.

Mate Rich helped us with our gear and graciously cleaned our fish for us upon returning to the dock.

Thank you gentlemen for giving us a great Father’s Day gift! We all had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed ourselves.

Would recommend Captain Jeff for anyone looking for a great day of fishing. We will be booking again!

I’m leaving a 5-star review because conditions were outside of the captains control. The boat was clean and well-equipped, the captain and mate were knowledgeable and well-connected with others boats out fishing. There was nothing they could have done better to get us fish by my measure.

Unfortunately for us, there were really bad storms the evening before and the Bay was cloudy and muddy and the fish just weren’t biting. Nobody was catching that day (on any boats in the area). Then half of the guests were feeling seasick halfway through the trip (waters were a little rough) and we ended up having to head back early. If we had maybe stayed out the whole time booked, we might have had more luck I think.

The captain was accommodating and understanding and did make an effort to get us a shot at catching some fish without putting the seasick guests through too much. He and the mate seemed genuinely concerned that the guests were not having the fun everyone hoped. Totally not their fault and only so much they can do.

We did walk away with a beautiful 24” Rockfish in the end and if we ever go out again, I would go with Captain Jeff in a heartbeat.

Captain Jeff and his first mate were outstanding with evey aspect of the fishing trip. We had a couple 9 year olds and the crew was able to answer every question the kids had about the boat and fishing. The kids cannot wait to go again.

We had a slow start but once the fish started biting they didn’t stop. We had a great time and are ready to book again.
