I booked a shark fishing charter with Captain Shad and it was incredible! We started out catching some mackerel which we hooked 6. After that we went to shark fishing but we didn’t end up getting a shark on. Captain Shad made things easy and was extremely fun! I would absolutely recommend Captain Shad’s charter and I’ll be booking again when I go back to Myrtle Beach.

We had a great time out on the water with Captain Shad. Even though the fish were not biting, Shad was a great captain and made the morning fun. Very Rough Seas after a storm and heavy winds. He gave us the opportunity to cancel on a “weather day”. We opted to fish and he gave it his all. We each got a Spanish and enjoyed fishing backwater once we had our fill of the seas. Make sure you talk to him. Fun to chat with and has lived a fascinating life.

I had a blast on board captain shads boat. He was very easy to get along with and on top of that we caught fish. The shark that I caught was my highlight. I promise if you want to have a good laid back time and catch some good fish book Captain Shads coastal charters I know I will be back again next year.

We had a bad day fishing but then again, no one was catching anything but it was still a great day. Captain Shad went over and beyond trying to find us some fish. He’s a great storyteller and keeps it fun even if the lines aren’t ripping. I would definitely head out with the Cap again!
