The only issue I had was prior to boarding when we had to pay the captain.  He was very rude when I told him I shouldn’t be paying him full price because I put a down payment. He got angry and said that they don’t take down payments. I told him i booked online and that I could show him the email. He was still pissed and asked if I talked to his wife online (as if I would know who his wife). Finally after feeling like crap about the whole thing, I showed him I booked through fishingbooker ... and he was mad I didnt say so to begin with. Maybe ya’ll should tell us we have to tell them we book thoughts you, since he didnt seem to know. The whole experience was uncomfortable.  Especially when I was being polite and received nothing but attitude in return. After we figured out the payment, I was still overcharged, and to not continue the argument I just payed. After we got on the boat, his attitude changed completely and was helpful the whole way, which is very confusing. I feel like maybe there was a miscommunication between you guys and them. That if they would have known that we booked through you ahead of time and received a. Noticed of what we owed, I wouldn’t have gone through that extremely uncomfortable situation.

Captain and crew were friendly, knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. Despite the heat and fishing conditions, they clearly made an effort to make sure we’d all have a great time on the boat.

My Husband and I really enjoyed our fishing trip on The Salty Goat and highly recommend it for fishermen. The Captain and Crew were awesome and made sure everyone caught fish. We will be going back.
