Caught some Spanish near shore so at least we put some fish in the boat . Boat was in rough shape mechanically . Broke down had to limp back to the dock quite a distance in reverse . Was a five hour trip spent a lot of time moving at a pretty slow clip, rigging poles and searching for bait . I would expect that when you book a trip like this the Capt is ready to roll , boat mechanically sound , bait is read and poles are rigged . I took my family on this trip to fish not to watch Capt fiddle with the boat and search for bait . Dave seems to be a real nice guy with a lot of fishing skills but really needs to get the boat and logistics ready before departure .

Very disappointed with this trip, Was picked up at 6 AM, Went to what seemed a fishing hole in the marsh and was pretty much what I expected at the time, We then moved to another spot and the captain started calling other friends I assume captains that fish inshore to find some fish, The boat died and would not start after some time he found the issue and stated that he didn’t have time in the morning to get gas an we needed to go to the fuel dock, While filling the boat with gas he stated that we needed to make a stop at his house boat and deliver some ice to his family that were vacationing on a house boat on the islands, After delivery of the ice and some conversation time we went to a suggested spot for fishing, After not catching fishing for awhile he called the FRIEND again and he pointed us to the exact spot to catch the 2 fish that we did end up catching then we went home an ended up at the dock at 2PM, There was no intentions of discounting the charges for the wasted fishing time with running around…Beware
