When we called around looking for charters to do with the family, Reel Grit was the one name mentioned multiple times as a must do. Happy to say they were not wrong! Captain Scott and his mate were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. The whole family got to make multiple catches, and they made sure everyone was safe in the process. With their talent and our maxed out haul of catches, we will definitely be back on this boat soon!

I took my four teenagers for a four hour trip and all we did was catch fish after fish, the entire trip. I think we caught about 14 striped bass total.  What fun! The captain was very friendly and his first mate was outstanding. The first mate, while quite young, was very knowledgeable and very hardworking. He did a very nice job cleaning our fish at the end. I highly recommend using Reel Grit.

Great trip on July 25th with Capt. Scott and his crew Kevin.  They know what they are doing and how to get you on the fish.  His first question was do you want do you want fish in the slot, or bigger ones.  I think you know what we picked, and he was right… going out again soon.

Cap and crew were both top notch.  Chased the fish around and had some awesome successes. We had two kids - aged 8 and 10 - along for the trip and they also enjoyed it immensely. Would recommend to anyone looking - esp with kids - the boat is big and smooth and comfortable.

Captain Scott and first mate Kevin were outstanding! They really wanted to make sure we had a great time and caught fish- which we did! I highly recommend this charter and expect we’ll be back next year!
