We booked with Dan and his claim was set crab traps on the way out and fish and check traps on the way in. Captain stated that it was commercial crab fishing season and it would be hard to catch any crabs in the trap. He decided we wouldn’t set traps. The trip was to crab fish and salmon fish. We were there for the crab. Very disappointed in this operation. Captain tried to catch salmon and we did. We caught 3. None we could keep.

Hi Heidi, Thank you very much for your feedback I do sincerely appreciate it. It does very clearly state on our charter information on FishBooker that crab traps will be dropped during winter and spring charters only. Currently there is a commercial crab season upon us and the crab fishing has been very slow as well as theft of our traps very high. We have chosen to stop all crab fishing until the fall as we very clearly describe in our basic information. I’m sorry you were disappointed.

My 12 yr old son and I had a great experience with fishing guide/captain Ken on our Pursuit Fishing Charter this weekend. Would highly recommend this charter….it was one of the best we’ve ever been on!!!! We loved the conversation and stories with our guide just as much as we loved catching the three King salmon. We definitely plan on using them again on our next trip to Vancouver!!!

Everything went as expected except the dam salmon didn’t cooperate. One fish on line and apparently it tasted great according to the seal the ate it!! Tom was our guide and make every effort to make our trip enjoyable but that can be a challenge with no fish. I would book again but only if the salmon are in on it.
