We had such an amazing day fishing with Captain Steve.  He was gracious enough to allow our 2 dogs on the float - what a bonus!  We met Captain Steve in Brookings @ 6:30am & after a quick stop to purchase Oregon 1-day fishing licenses we headed to the Chetco River.  We caught 5 small salmon - “catch and release” (shhh mine was the biggest).  The Chetco River is beautiful & Captain Steve knows every hot spot to fish.  He helped and guided us the entire day - we got off the river... Had a great day fishing for winter steelhead in March on the Chetco river with Steve. Steve knows the rivers and the fish well. The drift was a pleasant experience overall and great fun with some late winter steelhead action without the day.
