Ranks up there with one of the best fishing trips I have ever been on, Captain Tim knew exactly where the fish were biting, kept everyone entertained, and was full of great information.  We had 2 new fishers in addition to my daughter who has been fishing before on the trip and he did a great job showing them how and why fish do what they do.  They are usually quiet and reserved yet were talking non-stop with smiles on their faces, Captain Tim was not only a great captain but was a genuinely good person who was interested in us and our family and made the trip well worth it and a great experience!  You would be foolish not to book with Captain Tim and next time we are in Chincoteague it is going to be a must do.

We had a fantastic experience on the water: we saw the Wallops rocket (the June 24, 2022 sounding rocket launch) return to the marina on a fishing vessel while catching flounder, and that was the first 15 minutes of our outing! A few more flounder in the various habitats while exploring shore bird nesting sites gave a good idea of the ebb and flow of the back bay. The opportunity to switch fishing techniques and get close to a small dusky shark before releasing it to the open water was unforgettable! Hearing the lifelong outdoor adventures that brought Captain Tim to Chincoteague made for a great day, topped off by following his advice for preparing and enjoying the freshest catch of the day!
